Seed Sowing Guide
Fill up the seedling pot with seedling soil, poke a hole in the soil with a finger, put in 1 seed, and then cover with a thin layer of soil.
Place the seedling pots in a shaded area and water once a day in the morning. The seeds should germinate within 7-15 days. After that, move the seedling pots to a place exposed to sunlight (but not direct sunlight).
When the seedlings grow 3-4 true leaves, thin out excess seedlings (remove weak and crowded seedlings). Prepare to transplant the seedlings into a planting pot with a depth of 60cm or more, leaving a 60cm gap for each plant.
Top-dress with Mr. Ganick 532 Organic Leafy Fertiliser weekly for bigger and healthier leaves. During the blossom period, switch to Mr. Ganick 258 Organic Fruit Tree Fertiliser for a bigger and fuller harvest. Put the fertiliser 10-15cm away from the plant, cover with soil, and water after fertilisation.
Ready to be harvested after 10 months from transplant, when the fruit turns orange.
Growing Tips:
Papaya is easy to attract pests. You may apply Mr. Ganick Scale Terminator in the evening after watering to repel insects, twice a week.
Papaya is a multiple harvested crop. We suggest harvesting 2-3 times.
