Seed Sowing Guide:

  Make small holes in the seedling soil and place 2 to 3 seeds in each hole, then cover with a thin layer of soil. Water twice a day until after germination.

  When the seedlings reach 3 to 4 true leaves, thin out weak seedlings or transplant them, keeping the strongest seedling for each hole. Leave a 30cm gap for each plant.

  Top-dress with Baba 532 organic foliage fertiliser weekly. When the plants grow bigger, use Baba 426 organic fruiting fertiliser. Put the fertiliser away from the plant with a 10 to 15cm gap, cover with soil, and water after fertilisation.

  Only keep the main vine and a side vine with an axillary bud, and remove other axillary buds. Only keep one fruit per vine.

  Ready to be harvested when the fruit becomes plump and the surface colour of the watermelon becomes dull.

Growing Tips:

After blooming, manually pollinate the flowers in the morning.

Thin the leaves to ensure proper ventilation of the plants and avoid mealybug attacks.
