Seed Sowing Guide

  Fill the seedling pot with seedling soil, make a hole in the soil with your finger, put 1-2 seeds into the hole, and cover it with a thin layer of soil.

  Place the seedling pots in a shaded area and water them once a day in the morning. The seeds will germinate within 5-7 days. After that, move the seedling pots to a location that is exposed to sunlight (but not direct sunlight).

  When the seedlings have grown 3-4 true leaves, thin out excess seedlings (remove weak and crowded seedlings). Prepare to transplant the seedlings into a planting pot with a depth of 30cm or more. Leave a 30-40cm gap between each plant and build a trellis to support it.

  Apply Mr. Ganick 532 Organic Leafy Fertiliser weekly for bigger and healthier leaves. During the blossom period, switch to Mr. Ganick 426 Organic Melon Vegetable Fertiliser for a bigger and fuller harvest. Put the fertiliser 15cm away from the plant, cover it with soil, and water after fertilisation.

  Keep only the main vine and a side vine with the axillary bud, remove other axillary buds. Keeping only one fruit per vine.

  The fruit is ready to be harvested 75 days after transplanting. When the stem of the fruit becomes soft and woody, it is the best time to harvest.

Growing Tips:

After blooming, manually pollinate in the morning.

Store the fruit in a cool place for 7-10 days after harvesting to enhance its flavor.
